They don't just fill your heart, they make it stronger by helping to lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, and decrease triglyceride levels! Pooches can help keep you fit and active! Ours takes us for a 3 mile walk/run every morning on the beach. Studies show if you have a dog, you are going to walk more and be outside which can help lower your BMI, lose weight, and give you the ability to do more daily activities without limitations! Your pup can also help you reduce stress by helping to lower your anxiety and increase levels of serotonin and dopamine that help you feel good, happy, and calm.
