Drinking cold water may further enhance water’s calorie-burning benefits, because the body expends energy, or calories, by heating up the water for digestion.
Water is a natural appetite suppressant. Anytime you feel hungry, drink a cup of water before reaching for food as this could curb unnecessary snacking.
Water regulates your body temperature and lubricates your joints. It helps transport nutrients to give you energy and keep you healthy. If you're not hydrated, your body can't perform at its highest level. You may feel tired, have muscle cramps, dizziness, or other serious symptoms.
Staying hydrated also improves blood flow and circulation and thus the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to working muscles. Good hydration also helps remove metabolic by-products and waste from muscles, while replacing the water that is lost through sweat which will aid in your body's recovery!
Water is key to keep your body at it's best and can help you lose weight! How much you need depends on your gender and your activity each day. I recommend 12-15 cups per day.
